But what of the inherent dangers that come with how chlorella is processed. Among nutritionists, it's a general rule that foods closer to their raw, natural state, are more useful and nutritious. The more processing a food endures, the less it's generally useful to the body. Because of the growing, harvesting, and manufacturing process surrounding chlorella, the powder is somewhat more susceptible to contamination than many other health powders out there, especially since the cellular structure of the chlorella has been made vulnerable. Mostly in years past, contamination during one or more stages of the production of chlorella was shown to have happened. This is why, when you're buying chlorella, it's a very good idea to do some research to find out if the brand you're wanting to buy uses high quality control standards that have been proven over a period of time. Many bulk chlorella manufacturers exist, and they don't all use the same quality control standards, so you need to be somewhat careful about what you buy. For one thing, it's easy for companies to hide fillers inside their powders, and in the past, not all manufacturers have had high quality control standards. So be careful.
